Explore the life of Jesus viewed through the lenses of archetypes and of findings by contemporary theologians and historians that reinforce Creation Spirituality and New Thought teachings, with special attention to the influence of Jesus’s teachings in the work of Ernest Holmes, founder of Science of Mind and Centers for Spiritual Living. The class will also identify some beliefs that began to be added when Christianity became the dominant religion of the Roman Empire and on to the present day that Jesus never advocated. This class offers a great opportunity to learn about what Jesus taught that fits with a contemporary consciousness and with spiritual teachings based on love.
